OCAA recognizes eight Canadore varsity athletes

The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) recognized eight outstanding Canadore Panthers at its annual awards banquet last night.
Steve Bidal (North Bay) and Tristan Godmaire (Ottawa) were named to the Men's Volleyball East Divisional First Team All-Stars. Ethan Lucas (Syndenham) joined the East Divisional Second Team All-Stars, and Konrad Siedlac (Cambridge) was named to the East Divisional All-Rookie Team.
Members of the Panthers’ Women’s Volleyball team were recognized by the OCAA. Carlie Pappano (North Bay) was named to the East Divisional First Team All-Stars. Katie Bethune (North Bay) and Meadow Gillespie (Callander) joined the East Divisional Second Team All-Stars. Samuelle Ranger (North Bay) was named to the East Divisional All-Rookie Team.
Meantime, the men’s volleyball team is preparing for quarter-final action in London tonight. They play Cambrian in the quarter finals at 6:00 p.m. The match will be streamed on OCAA Live - https://portal.stretchinternet.com/ocaa/. The Panthers are ranked ninth in Canada – a first national ranking for the team – and second in the province.
