Canadore Panthers Men’s Volleyball make history with national ranking

The Canadore College men’s volleyball team is ranked ninth in Canada as it heads into the final games of the season. The team is ranked second in the province.
“The ranking is important for Canadore, and it’s recognizing a college-wide effort,” said Coach Mark Hopper. “It’s good for the program because it shows that we are working hard, but we have to keep moving forward.”
“Congratulations to the Panthers men’s volleyball team,” said President and CEO George Burton. “This is recognition of a job well done.”
Both of the Canadore Panthers’ varsity volleyball teams will be moving forward, heading into a weekend of play-off games at home on Saturday. The Women’s Volleyball team will face Mohawk at 4:00 p.m., and the men’s game will be against St. Clair College at 6:00 p.m. Both games will be played in the Education Centre Gym.
