Overview
The Gas Technician Training Programs, developed by the joint Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) and industry training and certification task forces, has been adopted as the minimum standard for the training and certification of gas technicians in the Province of Ontario. As a TSSA accredited and registered training provider, Canadore College is equipped to deliver both the Gas Technician 3 (G3) and Gas Technician 2 (G2) certification programs.
Become a certified gas technician through a combination of distance learning and in-person practical training. Located at the Commerce Court campus in North Bay, ON, our fully equipped training lab provides a space to learn hands-on, industry specific skills that meet the licensing requirements of the TSSA for gas technicians.

You may enroll in a Continuing Education course at Canadore College if you are 19 years of age or older or if you have earned an Ontario Secondary School Diploma/Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.

Participants are responsible for purchasing the required textbooks which are not included in the course fees.
