Ontario High School Students Receive Aviation Innovator Awards

Apr 15, 2019 | Canadore College

(NORTH BAY, ONT.) – Earlier this month, high school students from across Ontario were celebrated at the Canadore College Aviation Innovator Recognition Awards.

Eleven high school seniors were nominated by their teachers and guidance counsellors for showing great potential for an exciting career in aviation technology.

Nominees and their families travelled to North Bay for a private winners’ reception and awards celebration in the college’s hangar, and had the chance to get a bird’s eye view of the city from a helicopter. The students and their families were welcomed by Canadore Students’ Council , current aviation students, faculty, college representatives and North Bay City Councillor Scott Robinson.

Congratulations to the 2019 Aviation Innovators!
