The First Peoples’ Circle on Education grows from 40 years of Indigenous education at Canadore College, a leader in quality programs and services to Indigenous learners. As a not-for-profit, the Circle supports and empowers Indigenous people to independently deliver services and address the socio-economic conditions in their communities, ensuring Indigenous learners can study at the post-secondary level.

The First Peoples’ Circle on Education’s unique approaches are built on Indigenous values and principles of family, community, and healthy relationships, and have led to a number of successful projects and programs at Canadore College and in Indigenous communities.
