Canadore Spring Welcome and Orientation – April 26, 2024

Time: Check-in Reception begins at 8:30 AM
All Spring 2024 Semester 1 students are invited to participate in our Canadore Orientation which will be happening in person at Canadore College – College Drive Campus. This all-day event will allow you to connect with your Canadore Community and meet your classmates, instructors, and support staff who will be your home away from home throughout your educational journey with us!
Agenda for the Day
Session 1: Canadore Welcome and Partners in Success
Time: 9:00 AM
All first-semester students will learn about all the supports and services available to Canadore students as well as important information about policies and procedures on campus.
Session 2: Academic Welcome and Program Orientation
Time: 10:15 AM
All first-semester students will have an opportunity to meet their program coordinator and classmates and learn more about their specific program.
Session 3: Lunch Social
Time: 11:30 AM
All first-semester students will have a chance to mix and mingle with fellow students, staff, and faculty while enjoying some tasty food!
Session 4: International Orientation
Time: 1:30 PM
All first-semester International students will have a chance to meet and learn about various topics including immigration, health insurance, international student support/resources, safety and security, academic success, and more!
