Steve Kenzie, Executive Director - UN GCN UK

Steve has been at the helm of the Secretariat of the UN Global Compact Network UK since 2007, where he has played a pivotal role in uniting UK-based companies and various organizations in a global mission to advance corporate sustainability and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. His impact extends further as he has chaired the UN Global Compact’s Global Network Council and served as a UN Global Compact Board member.

Before his tenure at the UN Global Compact Network UK, Steve served as a Program Director at the International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF), where he led diverse projects addressing a wide spectrum of responsible business issues. Prior to his work at IBLF, Steve's entrepreneurial spirit shone through as he founded and successfully managed a retail sports equipment business in Canada.

Steve holds a B.Com degree from the University of British Columbia and an MSc in Business & Environment from Imperial College London.


Joan Kelley Walker

Joan Kelley Walker is an illustrious entrepreneur, philanthropist, media personality, model, wife and mother.  She is a fixture in the world of high fashion and has earned international acclaim for her extensive humanitarian efforts, including the Mother Teresa Award, Hero’s for Children- Power of Generosity Award,  Women of Inspiration Global Impact Award, Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Contribution to Canadian Fashion Award to name a few.

After starring in the hit series, The Real Housewives of Toronto, Joan reconnected with her fashion-industry roots to launch her exclusive line of versatile premium apparel sold at Walmart, The Joan Kelley Walker collection’s proceeds supported The Breakfast Club of Canada.   

Joan has long-served as an ambassador for World Vision, chair of the campaign for The Breakfast Club of Canada and as an ambassador for CNIB.  She lends her support to many other causes including Abuse Hurts, United Way, Trillum Health Partners, Neighborhood Network and SickKids.

Balancing a keen sense of social responsibility with a bold business savvy, dignity, and grace, Joan is passionately dedicated to improving lives, spreading joy, and making a positive difference in the world.
