Top Panthers Leaders and Athletes for 2017-18

Apr 6, 2018 | Canadore College

(NORTH BAY, ONT.) – Canadore College hosted its 49th Annual Panthers Athletics and Leadership Awards Banquet in celebration of student excellence last night.

Student leaders, elite athletes, coaches, the Canadore Students’ Council, Canadore Alumni Board members and Canadore employees gathered to celebrate influential students who have made a positive difference on campus through leadership activities and outstanding athletic integrity.

“Our athletes and student leaders share a lot in common – they are models of determination, dedication, discipline and commitment,” said Shawna Nielsen, director of student experience and success. “All of these students apply these amazing qualities to their sport, their causes and their academic studies. In the last year, we have all learned a lot from one another, and we are happy to be able to provide recognition where it is well-deserved and hard earned.”
