Partnership between UOIT and Canadore for international students

(NORTH BAY, ONT.) -- An expanded agreement between Canadore College in North Bay, Ont. and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) in Oshawa, Ont. will allow international students at Canadore increased access to college-to-university transfer programs.
Under the terms of the agreement, international students can declare their intent to pursue a UOIT undergraduate degree during their first semester of study at Canadore. Students will automatically be considered for admission to a college-to-university transfer program at UOIT upon graduating from an applicable diploma program at Canadore.
Graduates of select Canadore diploma programs can apply credits towards nine UOIT undergraduate programs: allied health sciences, biological science, commerce, communication and digital media studies, criminology and justice, educational studies and digital technology, forensic psychology, information technology security, and political science.

UOIT and Canadore are committed to providing students with flexible college-to-university transfer options, and are looking forward to more Canadore graduates pursuing undergraduate degrees at UOIT.
