Panthers Varsity this Weekend

(NORTH BAY, ONT.) – The Canadore Panthers varsity teams will be facing off against the St. Lawrence Saints and the Durham Lords this weekend.

Saturday, on home court, the men’s basketball team will challenge the Saints. The Panthers team is ranked 7th in the Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA) standings in the east division.

On Sunday, the women’s and men’s volleyball teams will be away at Durham College hitting the court against the Lords. In the east division, the women’s team is tied for 1st with a 7-0 season and the men’s team is ranked 5th.

Location:        Education Centre Gymnasium, 100 College Drive, North Bay, Ont.

Admission is free, but as a part of the college’s food insecurity initiative, patrons are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to games to help stock the shelves of the North Bay Food Bank and the Canadore College Emergency Student Food Bank. Game enthusiasts also receive complimentary popcorn.
