Katherine Stewart, RCMP special constable helicopter pilot, was honoured at the 11th annual Elsie MacGill Northern Lights Awards Gala with the Government award.
Stewart is an accomplished pilot with over 13,000 flight hours and is endorsed on eight different helicopter types. Her dedication to her role with Canadian Helicopters has seen her carry out very important work such as disaster relief, forest firefighting and wildlife management.
The Northern Lights Aero Foundation Elsie Awards celebrates women in Canada’s aerospace and aviation industries.
